Agility started out as something to entertain visitors to a major horse show and was based initially on showjumping for dogs but this soon evolved to become a very popular activity in it’s own right. In simple terms it is an obstacle course for dogs but as you know nothing is ever that simple and agility requires a combination of speed and control but offers a great deal of fun in return!
Our trainers have considerable experience between them and can take you from starting out to competition. We welcome dogs of all sizes and run beginners courses at intervals throughout the year – please contact us to find out when the next one is due to start. Dogs must be a minimum of 12 months to start agility (18 months for the really big breeds!) and ideally have some basic obedience as that will help no end! Agility is great fun for handler and dog alike and offers a fantastic opportunity to stay fit together!
